11 Insane 'Game Of Thrones' Theories On Twitter

During the Game of Thrones hiatus we fans turn to theories to keep those cogs turning. Some theories amass details from George R. R. Martin's novels and the HBO series. On the other hand, some Game of Thrones Twitter theories are straight-up crazy. You've got to hear what some of these fans have come up with since the Season 5 finale.

It's not surprising that fan theories have taken a turn for the desperate. We're all anxious to find out the answers to the questions last season left open: Is Jon Snow really dead? If so, is he coming back to life? If that's so, is someone played by Kit Harrington but no longer named "Jon Snow" going to be on Game of Thrones? I'm on to your tricks, HBO. Besides that debacle, there is also the uncertain fate of both Sansa and Arya Stark. We don't know what Daenerys is going to do next, and Cersei's new friend is already giving me nightmares. Whether you read the books or not, you've got to be trying to put the pieces together about some aspect of the story.

Here are some of the crazier ideas floating around the Twitterverse. Granted, I don't look down on anyone who came up with any of these theories. You're all brilliant, hilarious, and in some cases highly optimistic. However, I would count these Twitter Game of Thrones fan theories amongst some of the wackiest, and for that, I salute you.

1. Wait, What?!

Huh. Whaaaaaaaaaat?

2. A Song Of Ice And Huh?

Are we saying that a White Walker came to King's Landing, or that the Mad King became the Night's King? Either sounds ridiculous.

3. More Secret Targaryens

Granted, this Tweeter could be talking Alternate Universe rather than an actual theory.

4. So Crazy It Just Might Work

So he's not dead now, he just dies... later?

5. This Is Actually Really Sweet

I'm not crying. You're crying.

6. Oh, The Wishful Thinking

Ah, wouldn't that be nice?

7. One Evil Mother of Dragons

Wait, I actually want to hear more about this one. Antagonist is a vague term in a world like this, but could Daenerys become a villain?

8. Crossover Madness

Get it?

9. Pure Fanfiction

Is this, like, a ginger thing?

10. Casting Speculation

I've seen this top theory a few times on Twitter, actually. Maybe it's not so nuts...

11. Peace In Westeros

On Game of Thrones, a happy ending is the craziest theory of all.
