Lady Gaga's 'American Horror Story: Hotel' Costume Is The Epitome Of Old Hollywood Glamour
The latest season of AHS has been building much anticipation, mainly for its celebrity cameos. Lady Gaga was spotted on the set of American Horror Story at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Wednesday, giving us a sneak peak into her mysterious character.
Mother Monster looked ravishing (naturally), donning a hot pink floor-length gown complete with ruching and bejeweled broaches. The ensemble also featured draped sleeves that fully expanded when she raised her arms, adding a whole lot of dramatic flair to the look. She rocked a single sparkly silver glove that was totally reminiscent of Michael Jackson circa the '80s.
Her platinum blonde locks were gathered into a chic updo, and her makeup consisted of exaggerated black winged eyeliner, and a bold pink lip. The complete ensemble was the very epitome of old Hollywood glam, leading me to believe that her AHS character will be super stylish.
According to Ryan Murphy, one of the show's creators, Lady Gaga's on-screen persona is "consumed with art and fashion and people," People reports. Looks like I hit the nail right on the head. I predict that we'll be seeing lots of amazing fashion pieces from episodes to come.
Check out the ultra glam look.
And those dramatic sleeves!
It seems the pop star drew inspiration for her stylish character from her glamorous fashion sense IRL. Let's take a look at five other times she channeled Old Hollywood glam.
Vampy yet super glam.
4. Vanity Fair Oscars Party
5. Kennedy Center Awards
White is clearly her color.
I can't wait to see what else she wears on American Horror Story: Hotel.
