The 'Stewarts & Hamiltons' Are Ready For More

Now that the first season of E!'s new reality series Stewarts & Hamiltons has come to an end, I'm already wondering if fans can expect a second season with the blended #StewHam family. E! hasn't renewed the series yet, and the only reported ratings come from Headline Planet, which claims the series pulled in under 400,000 viewers for its Aug. 9 episode — not very promising numbers for a renewal. Something that is promising, however, is what Season 2 of Stewarts & Hamiltons would look like if the network does decide to grant us one. The various members of the titular families are easy to keep to track of, so there are already clues about what another season could cover.

The Stewart/Hamilton family tree itself is ripe with reality TV fruit. The show follows Alana Stewart, ex-wife of both musician Rod Stewart and actor George Hamilton, and her family. George Hamilton is a fixture on the series not only as a father to Ashley Hamilton, but also as Alana’s best friend. Her daughter with Rod, Kimberly, is an actress and model who has been wisely capitalizing on the show this summer, designing scarves for UK line Rockins. Alana’s son Sean Stewart’s life is also chronicled on the one-hour series.

The first season is packed with family drama surrounding the kids struggles’ with burgeoning careers and love lives, Alana and George’s history, and Kimberly and Alana’s mother-daughter relationship. So what could a second season have in store? To predict the future of the series, I took to the family’s social media pages to see what they are currently up to and what the cameras could focus on next season.
