Sofia Is Creating A Perfume For Her Wedding

Just add it to the to-do list! As if planning a wedding isn't stressful or time-consuming enough, Sofia Vergara is creating a new perfume to wear on her wedding day. The Modern Family actress is launching her second fragrance called Love, just in time for her November ceremony to Joe Manganiello.

In April 2014, Vergara launched her first fragrance on HSN called Sofia by Sofia Vergara, which was inspired by her home country of Colombia. This time around, Vergara is building off her original scent, but adding a few new notes, including mandarin, orange blossom, green apple, vanilla, and after drawing on the smells of her homeland again, notes of Colombian coffee flower.

"The first time I had to learn to understand the process, and we went back and forth a lot, because I wanted to make sure it was something I’d be proud to wear,” Vergara told WWD . “If people told me that I smelled good, I wanted to be able to say ‘it’s my perfume.’ The second time it was easier, especially as we built Love on the Sofía scent."

Vergara is very adamant about being included in the entire process, because she wants it to be true to her brand. Not to mention, fragrance is a huge part of Colombian culture.

“In Colombia, we put cologne on babies,” she said. “We’re very into that, and grow up with perfumes and colognes being part of your daily routine. For a long time, I started liking men’s colognes and perfumes — I thought they were more interesting.”

While Vergara might have a penchant for cologne, her new wedding scent Love, which is available in October on HSN, is incredibly feminine. I'm sure Joe is a big fan.
