Kate Bosworth Steps Out In Metallic Couture
She's no stranger to gorgeous red carpet looks, so it's no surprise that Kate Bosworth dazzled in a gold Schiaparelli couture gown at the Atlanta premiere of her new film 90 Minutes In Heaven. Having kept the public appearances to a minimum this summer, Bosworth clearly hasn't let her red carpet style falter. And this dress is proof of her return to full fashion force for her upcoming red carpet appearances.
The gown Bosworth wore is a metallic, brocade number that shimmers and shines between gold and silver. The etched leaf pattern adds gorgeous detailing in addition to the girly caps sleeves and the long, midi length of the skirt. Her gown itself looks like a structural piece of art, and Bosworth wears it well. It's from Schiparelli's fall/winter 2015 couture collection, and looked a little stiff on the runway, but it fits Bosworth so well, it is almost as if the silhouette was made for her. Plus, the open back is beyond gorgeous.
The fun doesn't stop at the dress! Bosworth wore matching metallic accessories, like subdued gold Nicholas Kirkwood heels that blended perfectly with her fair skin and the shine from the gown. She also wore drop stone earrings in a gorgeous opal shade by Susan Foster.
To top it all off, the actress held a bright gold Judith Leiber clutch that stood out from her gown and coincided perfectly with the rest of the ensemble's color scheme. Bosworth is a red carpet pro, and she's definitely someone who consistently wears beyond gorgeous and beautiful clothes. That being said, her last real carpet appearance was way back in April for the Lily Pulitzer for Target collection launch. Since then, she's been off the radar. While I know she's probably been busy working, I've missed her! Bosworth's sophisticated-yet-unique style truly stands out among the rest of the red carpet crowd.
This metallic return to the red carpet couldn't make me happier. If the four photos she uploaded from the event are any indication, I bet you she's happy to be back at it too. Plus, finally seeing a project you've been working on (with her husband, director Michael Polish, no less) come to life is probably very fulfilling. I would get dressed up for it, too!
Unfortunately, not all of us can afford to wear a couture gown for a night out. But we can take inspiration from her look. So, here are nine metallic dresses that you can wear to channel Bosworth's Schiaparelli gown.
