Louis Tomlinson Has A Lot Of Wise Words For Us

by Maggie Malach

There's a lot of very random Louis Tomlinson rumors floating out there. (I'm looking at you, Larry Stylinson.) One report that I really hope is true? The murmurs that Tomlinson might join The X Factor as a celeb mentor! Simon Cowell is allegedly pulling for it to happen and so I am!

A source told the Sun, "Simon is pulling out the big guns as he is still determined to make this series a huge success. One Direction have always been big ratings winners and Louis is the most outspoken of the band. He won’t be afraid to tell people if they’re terrible, which Simon loves.”

Seeing as One Direction got their start on The X Factor UK, it only seems appropriate that Tomlinson return to help start the careers of future singers. In his role as a celeb mentor, Tomlinson would surely be passing on some wise words. Luckily, he seems more than equipped to do this, as he's given some great advice in the past. The show would be a vehicle for him to give even more.

In honor of Tomlinson's (hopeful!) stint on The X Factor, here are seven times he's shared invaluable (and sometimes hilarious!) words of wisdom with all of us.

1. On Living In The Moment

"I like someone who doesn't take life too seriously. I hate people who are a bit uptight," he told Teen Vogue.

2. On The Importance Of Good Cereal

"Not having coco pops on room service is a crime !!" he tweeted.

3. On Justin Bieber

"I really do empathise with him, I don't see anything out of character in comparison to any other teenagers I know," Tomlinson said of his fellow pop star.

4. On Savoring The Little Things

"Sour @Starburst are one of life's gifts !," he tweeted.

5. On The Business Side Of One Direction

"I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I have to be kind of be on board with every minor detail and [I'm] quite opinionated," he told Billboard.

6. On Never Changing

"I think that we have always been ourselves from day one and we keep ourselves grounded," Tomlinson told Tumblr.

7. On Being A Role Model

"But to be honest, I don't think I'm the best role model in the world," Tomlinson told Teen Vogue. "I'm pretty immature sometimes."

Here's to Tomlinson's potential gig on The X Factor!
