Can Brian Austin Green Step Out of Megan Fox's Shadow?

David Silver is returning to TV. Brian Austin Green, whose biggest role to date remains 1990s favorite Beverly Hills, 90210, has been cast as a regular on Anger Management, which recently experienced a shake-up when Selma Blair left the series over a conflict with Charlie Sheen.

Green, who also starred on the short-lived Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, has appeared on the series before, playing the boyfriend of Sheen's ex-wife. But the boost to a regular role — hot on the heels of the show's controversy — means one thing: Green is finally getting a chance to strike TV gold.

After all, in recent years, Green's body of work has taken a backseat to the body of his now-wife, Megan Fox. The couple, who started an on- and off-again relationship in 2004, regularly made headlines once Fox shot to stardom following her role in the Transformers franchise. But, now that Fox has slowed down her career since the birth of their child, Noah — the actress' only future project is 2014's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — Green has the opportunity to emerge not only as more than Mr. Megan Fox, but also as Beverly Hills, 90210's most successful alums.
