There's fine line between being perfectly coordinated and being too matchy matchy. Actress Ellen Page and girlfriend Samantha Thomas wore black and white ensembles at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. But they didn't cross the line and end up looking way too similar! They were an expertly style synchronized and happily in love pair.
Page was on hand for the premiere of her film Freeheld and Thomas was there to support her. The actress told E! that she "is in love," as they walked the carpet together. The type of radiant glow that comes from being in love was visible all over Page's lovely face as they posed before the blinding flashbulbs at the film's showing.
Page slayed in a black blazer, crisp white shirt, skinny tie, and leather pants, which she paired with black boots. Thomas wore a white shirt and a black vest with loose-fitting black trousers.
They were in step and in synch when it came to their fashion and style, but they didn't come across as twinning on purpose.
I am all about Page's look in particular. The texture and the shine of the actress' leather pants added an instant injection of sexiness to her take on the menswear trend.
Congrats to the couple on their happiness and their stellar TIFF style. Let's peep their outfits from all sides.
They were coordinated but not copies.
Those leather pants! I want them in my closet. They were clingy like leggings.
Page's botoms almost looked like stretchy, over-the-knee boots. I love when an article of clothing looks like many different things depending on the angle.
Here are three universal truths: Black and white will always be in style; menswear can be styled in many different and fabulous ways; and, lastly, a couple in love is always beautiful!
Page was beyond adorbs in her dark, fall-ready ensemble. The blazer was oversized, but didn't swallow her. The skinny leggings balanced out her jacket's bulk.
Here's one last look at the ladies and their in step look. Thomas was rocking those loafers.
They were just fabulous from every angle.
