How Can Liz Win The ‘Big Brother’ Jury Vote?

by Emily Lackey

There’s already one thing going for Liz if she makes it into the final two: Her twin sister, Julia. During last week’s eviction, Julia Nolan was sent packing to the jury house, which means that Liz already has one vote she can count on from the Big Brother jury. But which other jury members can she count on to vote for her to win the $500,000 grand prize? Or, if she can’t count on everyone else’s votes, how can Liz convince the jury to vote for her to win the game?

First of all, she’s going to have to do a little bit more than bat those beautiful eyes and be super charming. That may have won Austin over from the beginning, but something tells me that, with a jury of mostly women, Liz’s usual charms are not going to work this time around.

Really the only chance Liz has of convincing the jury that she deserves to win is if she can remind them of just how well she has played the game. Unlike some of the other members of the final five — ahem, Austin and Vanessa —Liz has played the game well while also remaining relatively honest. ‘Cause let’s be real, there’s no such thing as a totally honest player in the Big Brother house.

But compared with some of the other players that still remain, Liz has been upfront about her loyalties and her alliances and has been reluctant to lie in order to get through to another week. AHEM, AUSTIN AND VANESSA. In fact, she’s one of the few players left who isn’t embroiled in all of this he-said, she-said stuff that Vanessa is determined to stir up. Sure, she’s told people what they wanted to hear, but she’s always remained true to her original Sixth Sense alliance members for as long as they’ve been in the game. And she’s never gone behind their backs to suggest otherwise.

And then there’s the fact that she does have a large chunk of her original alliance in the jury house if she makes it final two. Shelli, Julia, Vanessa or Austin, depending on who goes first, and even Steve who was apart of the Freaks and Geeks and Scamper Squad spin-off.

With that many friends in the jury house, Liz might not need to do that much convincing. But, just in case she does, focusing on the honest game she’s played and steering clear of the topic of Austin’s girlfriend might be just the way to do it.
