Lauren Conrad Is A Fan Of Bucket Bags For Fall

We were introduced to this season’s New York Fashion Week with the lovely Lauren Conrad’s first runway collection. The reality star turned full fledged designer charmed us with her signature, classic style by adding a vintage flair to her pieces, and if you couldn’t get enough of this woman’s fashionable sensibility, she’s relayed a little extra to her fans. LC’s a fan of bucket bags for fall 2015, with her latest blog post praising the uniquely shaped accessory. I can only speak for myself on this one, but if Conrad’s on board with the bucket bag, I’m purchasing my ticket asap.

As the ‘90s are making a stellar comeback this fall, we’re seeing tote bags pushed to the wayside and backpacks coming into play. Between prep school chic acquiring attention and the 1995 hit Clueless celebrating its 20th anniversary, chunky handbags are coming in clutch. Granted you may have already graduated from high school or college, and the idea of a backpack brings back memories of way too heavy accessories that were not so much fashion statements as they were necessities. This is understandable, but for the sake of style, let it go.

The bucket bag provides us with convenience and chicness. It has a distinct silhouette, comes in all sizes, shades, and patterns and is also dual-purpose; bring it along to brunch of throw over your shoulder before heading to the office.

Conrad's collection features a few handbags, none of which, ironically, are bucket bags. Am I sensing a new project in the works, LC? I'll keep my fingers crossed.
