You don’t become one of the highest paid models without having great personal style. So, when Kendall Jenner wore pinstripes after the Marc Jacobs show, it has me reevaluating my thoughts on the print. If Jenner’s wearing it — it’s in. This is my cue to go start shopping any pinstriped items I can find. If you need me, you know where I’ll be.
This top model could have definitely been inspired by the Marc Jacobs SS16 runway show because it was full of that back-to-school kind of feeling, featuring varsity jackets and, you guessed it, pinstripes. The print may be big for the upcoming spring season, but it’s also working for fall. Jenner’s outfit serving as an example — the only example that matters, at that.
She wore the print in the form of a co-ord set, as she’s apt to do. But, really, no matter how you wear the print, you’ll totally nail a chic-geek kind of look. There’s just something about the vertical stripes that’s so polished, and yet, when printed on a boxy sweatshirt or varsity jacket, the juxtaposition not only works, but is also very now. See just some of the ways that you can incorporate the print into your wardrobe and be ahead of the SS16 curve.
She's almost too cool for school.
