Allison Williams Married Ricky Van Veen & Their Wedding Was The Cutest Thing Ever — PHOTO

I don't know about you, but I kind of live for celebrity weddings. They're generally lavish and over-the-top, punctuated by moments of extravagance that the likes of you and I can't even begin to conceive of because, you know, we're not millionaires. Some stars do tend to keep things a bit more low key, but generally speaking, you can always count on a celeb wedding for a serious dose of opulence and display of money — oh, and of love, of course. Such was certainly the case when Girls star Allison Williams married Ricky Van Veen on Saturday, that's for sure. Their ceremony looked absolutely beautiful, and it's clear the happy couple had a day that will never be forgotten.

According to People, Williams and College Humor cofounder Van Veen tied the knot at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, in a seemingly elaborate ceremony that included plenty of their fellow celebs. Williams' Girls costars Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, and Zosia Mamet were on hand, as were the likes of Seth Meyers, Katy Perry, and John Mayer, to name a few. Williams even posted a gorgeous picture of their special day on her Instagram page, and seriously, she looks so beautiful!

There's something so perfect about this whole thing, from Williams' Oscar de la Renta gown, to the elaborate setup by legendary wedding photographers Christian Oth Studios, to just how happy they both look, this is something that needs to be framed and hung over the mantlepiece in their family home. It probably will be, actually, and I can see why — it's perfect.

The announcement that Williams and Van Veen finally exchanged vows will have come as somewhat of a surprise to anyone who's been following their relationship. After becoming engaged in February 2014, they pushed their wedding back earlier this year following the suspension of Williams' father Brian Williams from NBC Nightly News. Fans have been speculating on when the wedding plans would move forward ever since, and I bet no one will have been betting on this weekend. Regardless, it's wonderful news for the happy couple and a lovely occasion. Congrats to them!
