All Of Andy Samberg's Outfits At The 2015 Emmys

by Eliza Florendo

No one has had me laughing at the 2015 Emmys quite like the host. Aside from his spot-on comedic timing and hilarious jokes, though, Andy Samberg at the 2015 Emmys had the best outfit changes, giving me some serious jacket envy. Usually it's the ladies that get the most attention for their outfits and outfit changes, but Andy Samberg deserves some serious props in this case. Three looks in one night? That's pretty impressive in any case. It's only appropriate, though, that the show's hilarious host gets some fashion creds, too.

While we mostly see Samberg in his casual, off-duty look, complete with jeans, relaxed button ups, and T-shirts, we've definitely seen him cleaned up, and the Emmys were no exception. Though, I have to admit, next to Joanna Newsom in that amazing pink tulle dress, I didn't get to really see his look at first, I can truly appreciate it with a second look. OK, so maybe I'm a little bit biased because I have a huge crush on him, but I must say, he was on my list for one of the best dressed men of the evening. I love an excellent fit and a good color, and he can check both of those boxes off.

The Classic Tuxedo

I'm fairly certain nobody can look bad in a classic, fitted tuxedo, but Andy just seems to get it right. With his hair slicked back like that, I'm picturing me walking down the aisle and him waiting at the end. Wait, what? Who said that?

Oh, my. Samberg certainly knows how to rock a nice navy.

The Bold Pattern

This is the jacket he was wearing next to Newsom. I love this bold pattern that still remains subtle enough to have another patterned bowtie to go with it. Mixing patterns isn't a joke, and he's just pulled it off perfectly here. This is what a playful gentleman looks like.

The Baby Blue

This has got to be his most daring look of the night, but one that still works for this funny man. The Emmys is definitely a night to have fun (as you can tell, the hosts and crowd gets pretty chummy and jokes are thrown around), so why not reflect that fun, carefree attitude in your look? I love how he turned the classic tux look inside out by picking a bright, powder blue color that definitely made him a standout.

Shout out to you, Andy, for making some bold choices. Now we can add yet another title to your list: best dressed.
