The 'Scream Queens' Slayed At The Show's Premiere

by Kali Borovic

The day is finally here! The stylish new show from the creator of American Horror Story and Glee premieres Tuesday, Sept. 22, and although the two-hour episode might deliver preppy, collegiate style mixed with modern embellishments, the best looks from the Scream Queens premiere were all high fashion. From straight-off-the-runway dresses to sleek and sophisticated styling, the cast totally slayed with their red carpet looks.

The ladies of Kappa Kappa Tau traded in their Greek letters for fierce and fitted red-carpet looks at last night's premiere. According to E! Online, Lea Michele and Emma Roberts have gotten to be close friends since they started filming the show, but it's clear to see that their style hasn't rubbed off on each other. The two stepped onto the red carpet rocking completely opposite vibes, but they both killed it.

Roberts opted for a short white floral dress that combined sweet and sexy all in one look. The top had yellow flowers which faded to blue at the bottom. Michele took a darker approach to her styling, and it paid off. She wore an all-black cutout gown with a high slit that looked absolutely gorgeous. The rest of the group kept up with the light and dark trend, making for a highly fashionable premiere.

1. Emma Roberts

Striking a silly pose with her squad, the star looked great in this dress. She kept it bright from her hair to her all-white shoes.

She brought a touch of darkness to the ensemble with her lips and smudged eyeliner, but kept it sweet with light pink nails.

2. Lea Michele

The actress opted for an all-black look for the event. The cutouts made it seem almost like a crop top and a skirt, and the shoes finished off the witchy styling perfectly.

Her light pink lip brought some sweetness to her look, but her ear cuff took the outfit right back to edgy.

3. Keke Palmer

Palmer's cartoon-ish dress looked like it could've stepped right off the runway. She kept it light like Roberts, but spiced things up with a bright red shoe.

Her sleek ponytail and long lashes were the perfect balance.

4. Skyler Samuels

Samuels brought the fierceness with this Philip Armstrong black flame minidress, which matched with the show's dark vibe.

Her cat eye and classic red lip completed the look beautifully.

5. Nasim Pedrad

In another all-black outfit, Pedrad went for a classic meets modern feel with her plunging neckline and fringed bottom dress.

She finished off the look with effortless hair and bold lashes.

Although the red-carpet dresses are a lot different than the bubble-gum pink outfits we've seen in the Scream Queens preview, there's no doubt that these women can wow with their personal style.
