Bar Refaeli's Wedding Gown Is Unexpected & Lovely

Your wedding day is the one occasion in which you can pull out all the fashion stops. That's exactly why I was a bit surprised by the subdued gown choice of one newlywed celeb. Bar Refaeli wore a Chloé wedding dress when she married hubby Adi Ezra last week, and the low maintenance gown was rather unexpected coming from the supermodel.

The Israeli model has been dropping subtle teasers of her wedding on Instagram for weeks, and on Wednesday, she finally showed us the real deal with an Instagram photo of her gorgeous gown. Refaeli donned an ivory Chloé dress complete with sheer panels, embroidery, and tassels. The silhouette was loose and flowing with a short train and a low-cut neckline. The dress emanated major boho-chic vibes with an overall minimalistic theme.

The 30-year-old obviously looked stunning, but I was really hoping for more. A lot more, actually. When you think Sports Illustrated supermodel, you think utmost sultriness, right? I would have predicted her to rock something a bit more form-fitting to show off her statuesque physique, or at least a design with a tight bodice and a fuller skirt. The flowing loose style she opted for could not have been simpler, but still, it was every bit as lovely.

Rafaeli stuck to the bohemian inspiration of the ensemble with a half-up half-down hairstyle, sans veil, and minimal makeup.
