Hot on the heels of her ridiculously photogenic wedding to Ian Somerhalder (seriously, did you see her Claire Pettibone-designed dress?), Nikki Reed visited The Today Show in L.K. Bennett to promote her upcoming role on Sleepy Hollow — and she seriously brought her fashion A game.
She wore an absolutely gorgeous fluttery-sleeved tea-length chiffon dress, and she paired the breezy (yet sophisticated) day dress with delicate bronze high-heeled gladiator sandals, and a neutral makeup look (featuring perfect brows, pink lips, and a soft-focus glow). It may technically be fall, but for here in Los Angeles, it made for the perfect end-of-summer ensemble.
Reed was visiting The Today Show to promote her upcoming stint on Sleepy Hollow — she'll be playing none other than historical icon Betsy Ross (she made the first-ever American flag). Reed was quick to dispel any notions of her character being stuffy, though. She said, "I'm not your typical Betsy, not the one you would envision ... Not the one in the rocking chair." She also added, "It's our own take on Betsy so she's kind of a kick-ass, sexier version."
Sounds fun, right? After all, before new musical Hamilton came on the scene, Sleepy Hollow was really leading the charge with sexy-ifying the American Revolution.
If you're a die-hard fan of Reed's style, you're in luck: Her exact dress is still on sale at L.K. Bennett. The only drawback? Well, it'll set you back upwards of $500 — so, just in case you don't happen to have several hundred dollars burning a hole in your pocket, I've also included a few more wallet-friendly shopping options as well.
