You Need Pat McGrath's First Original Product

There are few makeup artists more well-respected or well-known than Pat McGrath. The star artist has worked with everyone from Max Factor to Dior, and no matter who she's creating with, her work is always brilliant. So you can image the excitement when Pat McGrath launched her first product on Tuesday in Paris. It's not a collaboration, and it's not in conjunction with a fashion label. McGrath released Gold 001, a practically all-purpose, highly pigmented paint perfect for basically every part of your face.

While the launch itself is outstandingly exciting, the manner in which McGrath chose to showcase the product is even better. The makeup artist didn't chose to show off the product at a fashionable party or even on models on the runways of Paris Fashion Week that she's such a killer at rocking. Instead, the talented lady essentially makeup-bombed Paris. McGrath took to her Instagram account — which has more than 480,000 followers — to announce that she would be in the the Jardin des Tuileries where she would "adorn you in #Gold001." While the caption was cryptic at the time since McGrath had not announced Gold 001's existence as her own product, it didn't stop an insane crowd from appearing.

Since it is Paris Fashion Week, tons of the fashion elite appeared at McGrath's launch for Gold 001, and it's easy to see why everyone was clamoring to get made up my McGrath and her team of 35 assistants.

Every day Parisians were among those who got made over, and the results were dazzling. Gold covered eyes, lips, and even brows could be seen as the team created beautiful looks on those waiting.

I can't wait for the rest of McGrath's line to launch. There's no doubt that it's going to be an incredible set of products. You don't need much of that than McGrath's previous work, and boy, does she have insanely gorgeous style.

Classic beauty and red lips never go out of style.

Basically, McGrath's talent is undeniable. Her editorial work is breathtaking, and even her runway looks can be translated into everyday. What this means is that not only is her collection destined to please the fashion crowd, but the rest of us can embrace it as well.
