Forget the drama and unnecessary fights that usually go down on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, because the cast continues to support a cast member who truly needs it. While chatting with Us Weekly on Tuesday, Lisa Vanderpump said Kim Richards is doing well, after an extremely tough year in which Richards was arrested in April for an incident at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The Bravo reality starlet, who also stars on Vanderpump Rules, said, "I saw [Kim] just the other day. She’s doing very well and she looks healthy and happy so that’s good. That’s more important than anything, any reality show, so I was happy to see her, doing well on her birthday."
Speaking of Richards' birthday, she celebrated with fellow RHOBH co-stars Yolanda Foster and Brandi Glanville. They went to lunch together and Richards definitely appeared "happy and healthy," like Vanderpump mentioned. Despite the tension Vanderpump and Richards have shared from time to time, the SUR and Pump owner is pushing that to the side and has nothing but well wishes for Kyle Richards' sister. As she said,
The most important thing is her sobriety and I’m glad that she has achieved that. She has really kind of committed to that. And I think, what can we do? Nothing but support her. And hope the best for her in the future.
As for the drama between Richards and her sister, it seems they've moved past that and are focusing on the important things in life. "I just think that when there’s something like she has been through — struggle — you’ve got to put everything behind you." She added, "I’m sure it’s a complex relationship, but they seemed happy. It was her birthday so that’s a really positive step in the right direction."
Whatever the case, it's great to hear that Richards is doing well and that her family, friends, and RHOBH co-stars have her back.
