How To Make 3 Ingredient Oreo Rice Krispie Treats

by Kaitlyn Wylde

Do you have a blender? Great, you're qualified to make Cosmopolitan's delicious, three-ingredient Oreo Rice Krispie Treats. Their super easy recipe takes only a few minutes to whip up and will feed a whole dinner party (which, if you're like me and have a faulty oven or attention span, you'll be happy to know about). Every twentysomething woman should have a few go-to recipes in her back pocket for entertaining, gifting and indulging. Especially when the recipe will only cost you $10 and take 10 minutes!

There's something so nostalgic about Rice Krispie Treats, and when you mix Oreos and marshmallows together, you're liable to create an explosion of childhood sentimentality. Though if your mom was a health nut like mine, your Rice Krispies were probably off-brand puffed brown rice and they probably sat soaking up whole milk under a sprinkling of Wheat Germ to get that extra nutrition in there. Maybe if you were lucky you'd get a drizzling of honey over your cereal, but microwavable marshmallow goodness was never in the realm of possibilities.

But if your childhood was as tragic as mine, you'll be happy to know that you can easily make up for it with this drool-worthy recipe. You'll need a blender or food processor, a bag a Oreos, half a stick of butter and a bag of marshmallows.

First, blend your Oreos into heavenly chocolate sand

Place your marshmallows and butter in a microwavable bowl and cook on high for 90 seconds

Pour Oreo dust into the bowl of melted marshmallows, and stir with a spatula until completely mixed

Spread mix in foil covered pan

Slice, decorate, DEVOUR
