7 Times Cate Blanchett Owned The Color Pink

Not many people have what it takes to wear head to toe pink without looking like an actual Barbie doll, but Elle Woods might have just met her match. Cate Blanchett wore a neon pink pantsuit on The Ellen Show and managed to make it look really sophisticated. While the actress normally has a thing for neutrals, she's no stranger to opting for bright pink from time to time.

When I heard that neon is on trend for fall, this wasn't exactly what I was picturing. Blanchett made the bright double-breasted suit look completely casual as she strolled into The Ellen Show. While some people might pair the pink jacket with black leggings or white jeans to break things up, Blanchett decided to commit to the color with matching trousers, and she did it flawlessly.

The Oscar winner kept the accessories at home and let her Edun Resort 2016 pantsuit speak for itself. With such a stand-out look, it was probably good that she kept it minimal. Her black heels were just enough to complete the look, and the cut of the tailored suit was absolutely perfect. With a nude lip and loosely-curled hair, there was no denying that she knocked this outfit out of the park.
