All The Naked Dresses From The 'Vogue' Paris Party

by Renata Certo-Ware

If one thing is for certain in this world, it's that the international best-dressed set loves a good party, especially when there are ample opportunities to dress up — and get down — on the dance floor. Editor-In-Chief Emmanuelle Alt threw a dance party for Paris Vogue 's 95th anniversary, and stars like Kanye West, Rihanna, Jared Leto, a gaggle of gorgeous models, and a bunch of Brat Packers all turned up to fete the magazine. Paris Vogue also released a jam-packed anniversary issue with four alternative covers, including one of supermodel Gisele Bündchen (remember her pants-less cover, shot by Mario Testino?).

Considering this is Paris Vogue I'm talking about, everyone was dressed to the nines, rocking a mix of cocktail and gala attire in mostly neutral shades. Black was the predominant hue, but crisp, clean white dresses were surprisingly ubiquitous. Rihanna rocked a loose-fitting, nightgown-inspired frock while Doutzen Kroes looked killer in an column gown. But it was another trend — what I like to call the "naked dress" look — that seemed to be the go-to. It's safe to say that this many sheer dresses haven't been in a room together since the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala in Saint-Tropez, and I'm loving it.

Here are all the stars who fearlessly rocked a "naked dress," from the sorta see-through to holy sheer!

1. Lena Perminova

Perminova somehow managed not to be swallowed up by the ruffles and sheer panels of this Francesco Scognamiglio dress. Instead, her tousled hair and air of confidence chicness made this a look to remember.

2. Natasha Poly

Fellow Russian model Natasha Poly wore an only slightly more pared down version of Perminova's Francesco Scognamiglio dress in black, which was the perfect accompaniment to Perminova's fluffy number.

3. Magdalena Frackowiak

Frackowiak rounded out out the Francesco Scognamiglio trifecta, wearing a similar silhouette with less ruffles but a whole lot of leg.

4. Barbara Palvin

Who would've thought a Paris Vogue party would've been the perfect day to sport a white wedding-like gown? Palvin went super formal, seemingly channeling Beyoncé and Kim K's Met Gala looks.

5. Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid channeled Kendall Jenner's pantsuit from Paris Fashion Week, opting for a va-va-voom halter dress with a sheer bustier.

6. Daria Strokous

This look is totally '80s grunge, but so glam that I almost didn't notice its resemblance to a beach cover-up.

7. Coco Rocha

Rocha was serving up all kinds of Morticia Addams vibes in a black, floor-length gown with an intricate gold motif. The new mama wore dramatic eyeliner, a nude lip, and slicked back hair.

8. Jamie Bochert

This body-hugging gold number is giving me life. Kudos to Bochert for shining bright in the sea of understated colors.

Oh, to have been a fly on the wall of this sartorial extravaganza.
