Kim K Won The "Overdressed For Everyday Life" Game

The members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have a knack for looking flawless wherever they go, but this time, one of them was tad bit overdressed. Kim Kardashian wore a bodycon dress to the movies, and it's not the first time that she's gone OTT for an incredibly basic activity. Her curve-hugging silhouettes and body posi pregnancy looks are definitely part of her signature style, but there are just certain times when a chic pair of jeans will do.

Kardashian and Kanye West stepped out for a kid-free date night in Los Angeles on Oct. 8, and while there's no word on what movie they saw, the couple's outfits are no secret. Kardashian sported a dark green bodycon dress underneath an olive green long jacket and completed the look with a strappy pair of nude heels. West's look, on the other hand, was more my date-night style. He chose to keep things casual with a Ramones shirt, light jeans, and a pair of lace-up kicks.

Of course, Kim K loves her bodycon dresses, and they've arguably been responsible for many other overdressed looks. There's just no event that doesn't call for six-inch heels and an over-the-top ensemble when you're a reality star. Let's take a look at some of the other times that Kardashian dressed up for basic activities — just to, you know, have some escapism from the tatty jeans and tee combo we just sported to Whole Foods.

1. Pushing A Stroller

Kim K opted for the curve-hugging silhouette while out for a walk with North. Add to that the five-inch pumps, blowout, and full-glam makeup and you have yourself one seriously overdressed outfit.

2. Eating At Waffle House

This is a seriously over-the-top look for Waffle House. When you put two fabulous A-list couples together, though, it almost doesn't look that unusual.

3. Festing At Glastonbury

People wear some pretty out-there outfits to fest in, but this high-fashion look was way too overdressed for the music festival, IMO.

4. Boating

When's the last time you wore a choker and full makeup while boating?

5. A Garden Stroll

I don't know where they are or why they're there, but for most of us, this outfit would be a little much for a midday stroll.

6. Every Lakers Game

Because when you're not really into sports, the court really is just a runway.

7. Catching Her Flight

Kardashian sported sequins, fur, and a body-hugging cut through the airport. That's just what I look like when trying to hop from terminal to terminal, obviously.

Now, celebrities obviously lead very different lives to the majority of us. But I have to say: Kardashian's knack for overdressing when doing even the most basic of activities is giving me all the inspo I need to wear a tutu to the pharmacy.
