North West's Halloween Was Way Cooler Than Yours

by Nicole Pomarico

It sounds absolutely crazy to want to swap lives with a toddler, but that is the reality I'm living right now after seeing how North West celebrated Halloween. Of course, anyone who keeps up with the Kardashians is already well aware that their version of the holidays is a little different from the rest of the world's, mostly because, well, they're the Kardashians. And as they get older, get married, and start having kids, it becomes obvious that those kids are having a childhood that is nothing like the one that most of us probably experienced. After all, Kylie and Kendall Jenner's teacher is the complete opposite of the teachers I had in high school, and now that October 31 has come and gone, it looks like the way North West and her cousins did Halloween is pretty darn different from how a regular kid would do it.

Although, honestly? Halloween is an epic holiday for any kid, celeb or not. What's better than dressing up in a costume and getting free candy? But this year, North did it in style, and I'm totally jealous. I have an endless amount of happy memories from trick-or-treating all the way up through high school (because I refused to let it go), but I can guarantee you they look different than the ones North, Penelope, Mason, and Reign will look back on in the future.

North Had, Like, A Million Costumes

This year alone, homegirl was Elsa, a unicorn, and a ladybug. For one Halloween. One.

While The Rest Of Us Probably Had One

At least, I know I did. And I started planning that costume months in advance, like the time I was a magic ballerina and tried to fix my grandma's fridge with my wand.

The Entire Family Matched

It's like Kourtney is trying to compete with Neil Patrick Harris' adorable brood with superhero costumes like these. I'm so jealous! In my family, my mom always took me trick-or-treating while my dad manned the candy bowl at home, but they were never in costume — except for the time my dad whipped out this scary mask he'd named Harry and gave me nightmares that still haunt me to this day.

The Kards Kids' Disney Princess Costumes Were Super Fancy

This is not discount Frozen time, y'all. These are the big leagues. North and Penelope as Elsa and Anna are the real deal, and their costumes are super legit.

But A Normal Kid As A Disney Princess Looked Something Like This

It might not be deluxe, but the fins were sewed by my mom, and I was so proud of them. I wore this costume on a daily basis long after Halloween, and I am only mildly embarrassed to share it with you now. Sorry my wig is so horrifying. It's tangled like that because I tried to brush it with a fork.

And The Kardashian Trick-Or-Treat Group Was Elite

Because they're the Kardashians, duh. As for me? I always went with whoever was my BFF at the time, or random neighborhood kids, followed by an official candy swapping huddle afterwards. It's the only way to get rid of the Almond Joys and trade them for Reese's Cups.

Just because I adored Halloween as a regular, non-Kardashian kid doesn't mean I wouldn't want to swap lives with North West, though. What do you say, Kim? Next year, let me be your kid? Thanks in advance!
