Old Hollywood glam was in full effect at one of the highest profile premieres of the season. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt hit the By the Sea red carpet looking both classy and classic. The actors are Hollywood royalty and they play a husband and wife dealing with a crumbling relationship in their new film. But clearly, life does not imitate art for them, as they pair looked as happy as ever as they promoted the film with smiles on their faces and fabulous clothes on their bodies.
With his slicked back hair and simple tux, Pitt was the epitome of Golden Age leading man. The bow tie was his best accessory, other than his stunning wife. The parents of six were totally in sync with their clothes and their poses.
Jolie directed the film, so it was obviously a labor of love on several levels. Plus, she got to work with her husband in a new capacity, which is always professionally and personally rewarding. She can tell she is proud of the project and beams about it; she wears it well.
Know what else she wears well? Oh, just that sparkly and strapless, champagne-colored column gown by Atelier Versace.
Her makeup was minimal, with her thick crop of chocolate locks swept off her face.
Jolie was every inch the hourglass goddess in her gown.
The dress had a clean shape and wasn't too dramatic. It was, in fact, just right. It was, however, embellished with thousands of Swarovski crystals, making it a gem of a dress.
You can always count on Jolie's tattoos to add edge to a glamorous ensemble.
The custom gown draped her frame beautifully. It certainly hugged her voluptuous curves. You can see the pleating here.
That smile, though. Jolie's grin illuminated her face.
The actress and director opted for a dusty pink lip and dewy skin. She skipped tons of eye makeup and went with small earrings. And it was all perfection.
Pitt still has the look of love in his eyes.
From the back, you could appreciate the corset shape of the dress.
Ok, enough with this flawlessness. Brangelina's status as Hollywood royalty is unrivaled. In fact, it's upped by their on point red carpet game.
