Nicole Richie Got A Platinum Bob, Confirming It's The It Hairstyle For Fall — PHOTOS
We may have already seen this look before, but it doesn't even matter because it's too amaze not to want to steal. According to US Weekly, Nicole Richie just got a platinum bob. Leave it up to Jennifer Lawrence to set the It hairstyle for fall.
Just last week, Lawrence chopped her locks into a bob and dyed her hair platinum, and now it looks like Richie is following in her footsteps. Not that she actually copied J. Law or anything, but I wouldn't blame her if she did. Richie attended the Pearl x Change event in Beverly Hills on Sunday, and debuted a shorter and much brighter 'do. The 34-year-old's chin length bob was definitely edgy, worn in undone waves with a deep side part for a little extra drama. But the cut wasn't the only transformation, the designer also lightened up her previously golden blonde hair to an icier shade of platinum.
Richie is known for switching up her color and experimenting with her hair, so while this change is probably not permanent, it's definitely another one to add to her "totally rocked it" repertoire. I wonder if we'll be seeing more celebs ice it up and chop it off this fall?
It's insane what a difference a little bleach can make.
I know there are going to be plenty of J.Law comparisons, but to be fair, Richie's is slightly different.
Though Lawrence went platinum, hers still has some gold undertones in it, and the cut is longer and choppier on the ends.
Richie's 'do is definitely ice platinum, and her cut is shorter and more blunt on the ends. And if she gets sick of the comparisons, she can always switch it up again, because she is seriously a hair chameleon. Remember when she had a pixie?
She is so gorgeous, she doesn't need any extra hair! Her pink color was one of my favorites, though.
It is no easy feat to pull off all-pink hair. Or purple hair, for that matter.
But you know what's even harder? Gray.
And she of course totally slayed.
