Why Did Kylie & Tyga Break Up?

by Michelle McGahan

It seems like things are officially over for Kylie Jenner and Tyga, who reportedly called it quits on the rapper's 26th birthday on Thursday. The pair's split seems not only super abrupt — just one week ago, both Jenner and Tyga were grammin' glamorous pics of themselves dressed up for Kris Jenner's 60th birthday bash — but also pretty explosive, with one TMZ source claiming that Jenner, 18, ended the relationship over "something Tyga did." This, of course, begs the obvious question: Why did Kylie Jenner and Tyga break up? And what exactly did Tyga do?

Though the TMZ source declined to give any specifics about that "something" the rapper "did," HollywoodLife was quick to fill in some of that info for fans, citing a report from MediaTakeOut that claims that Jenner walked in on her boyfriend FaceTiming with a stripper. Um, OK. Despite the fact that MediaTakeOut literally uses phrases like "the Kardashian family HATES HIS AZZ" in their report, they also claim that their "snitch" is someone who is so close to the Kardashian family that their name begins with a K. Hmmm.

Other TMZ insiders claim that Jenner broke up with the rapper because of "pressure from the Kardashians," which may make some sense. Though most of the fam publicly showed their support for the couple — particularly Khloé Kardashian with her vehement defense of their relationship — it looks like some Tyga tension will play out on this season of KUWTK , according to GossipCop.

Still, an E! source insists that the split is just "a break." And yes, this does carry some weight, considering E! is the network that basically made the Kardashians... well, the Kardashians.

"They are on a break," the E! insider revealed. "They were just a week or so ago talking about ‘ever after' and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by her self and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that's his one and only lady."

That all being said, it's clear that the Kardashian-Jenners didn't have any part in celebrating the rapper's 26th birthday, with the whole crew being uncharacteristically silent on social media while Tyga went out and partied it up at The Nice Guy and 1OAK, People reports.

Maybe Norman has the actual scoop.
