When Will We See The First Photos Of Kim K's Baby?

After months of waiting, the big day is finally here: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their second child on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 5, and North West is officially no longer an only child! Since the proud mom first revealed her pregnancy to the world, I've been extra excited for all things Baby West, like finding out what his name will be (no word yet!). But nothing will be as awesome as seeing photos of him for the first time. Obviously, he'll be cute — that goes without saying — but I want to see if he looks more like his mom or his dad... or maybe even his big sister. So, when will we see photos of Kim Kardashian's new baby? Now that he's been born, it's just a waiting game for all of Kim K's fans.

That said, it's pretty easy to predict what will happen based on what's happened in the past, from Kim's own daughter's birth and the birth of Kourtney Kardashian's kids, Mason, Penelope, and Reign. When North was born, her first photo was revealed on Kris Jenner's short-lived talk show when daddy Kanye West appeared as a guest. That episode aired about two months after North's birth, and even though that doesn't sound like a very long time, I remember it feeling like an eternity, just because of the anticipation of seeing what kind of miraculous child Kardashian and West could create together.

And as for Kourtney? When Reign entered the world last year, Kourtney waited a full four months before showing off his adorable little face on Instagram, despite the fact that she frequently shares photos of her other children. And even since then, seeing Reign on her Instagram has become somewhat of a rarity — probably because he's still so little. But there is good news. Penelope's first photos arrived in a spread in Us Weekly when she was just a month old. So, maybe Kim will take a page out of her sister's book and share baby number two's photos sooner rather than later? At least, that's what I'm hoping for.

Bottom line: It probably won't be too long before Kim breaks down and decides to let us see her new little one, especially since she's so obsessed with social media. But don't be surprised if she takes the opportunity to introduce him to the world in a super high-profile way. After all, she first announced her pregnancy on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, so I wouldn't be surprised if North's bro makes his first appearance on TV (or, you know, the cover of Vanity Fair) too.

Kim and Kanye may (unfortunately) be total strangers to me, but I can't wait for their baby's arrival!
