One Tree Hill fans, the long haired Brooke Davis of Clothes Over Bros has debuted a new look. OK, not really, but the incredible, altruistic Sophia Brush debuted shorter locks Thursday night on Instagram, and she looks amazing — not like that's super surprising though. While her hair game has always been strong, the newly shorn locks are so great that they apparently made her feel like dancing. Clearly, Bush's hair is a testament to the power of a killer salon experience.
It's no surprise that Bush's new 'do is gorgeous. The star's fashion and beauty game is totally on point, and not just on point but inspiring. Bush has always been a proponent of beauty and health becoming a major part of women's self-care, and it's one of the reasons I love her. In an interview with Bustle, Bush said, "I think it's really important for women to know that just because you like to take care of your body or your smile or your skin doesn't make you vain. It's all part of loving yourself... and treating yourself the way you deserve." Bush's health and beauty philosophy is definitely one that more people should embrace, and bucking the notion that taking care of yourself equates to vanity is something I'm totally down with.
Bush's new look is effortless fun, and I've got to say, that seems perfect for this ultra-cool star.
Over the years, Bush's beauty look has stayed relatively consistent and always on point. It's actually her hair that's changed the most over time. During her days on One Tree Hill, Bush — and her character — wore signature long brunette locks during the first half of the series.
Soon though, the hair transformations began with Bush chopping those long locks into a shorter — but still brunette — 'do. The change was definitely major, but the cut looked gorgeous on the compassionate actress and activist.
Then came the color changes. Bush is now rocking a nearly all blonde look, but throughout the years, she's fluctuated between brunette, auburn, and that now gorgeous blonde.
Bush's new look though is definitely one of my favorites. In a post to her Instagram, the Chicago PD star looks positively radiant and definitely laid back in a white tee as she shows off the new chop.
While she's been rocking a long bob, this new look totally falls into the realm of an actual bob. Her hair falls just around her jawline and chin in super beachy blonde waves that are perfectly messy. If I were her, I'd feel like dancing, too!
