Lena Dunham's Beauty Collabo Is Totally Her Speed

As if we needed another reason to love her! Lena Dunham's first beauty partnership is here and it's totally her speed and what you'd expect from the writer, actress, author, and key member of the Taylor Swift Squad. Dunham's Lenny Letter email newsletter, which she created with Jenni Konner, now has an e-commerce shop that sells the cutest nail wraps, among other things! Of course the nail wraps have an edgy element, as Dunham is all about female empowerment when it comes to details.

The Nudes nail wraps aren't simply "barely there" colors that enhance your nail bed! They are actually literal. The wraps feature tiny, abstract illustrations of body parts, like boobs and more.

They are super small so they are not obvious enough to attract your boss' attention. But they can be conversation starters. Proceed with caution or throw it out the window.

The Lenny Letter covers a bunch of important topics, from politics to radical art to feminism to fashion. The shop's mission is simple. Dunham and Konner wrote, "We strongly believe that cute and cool come at every price point, and we also adore the culture of self-made businesses popping up in the Instagram age."

Their overarching goal is to connect their readers with "grassroots feminist businesses and also wouldn't force you to spend your entire rent on an ankle boot with a weird zipper."

Did you hear that noise? Oh, that was just me, dropping to the floor because I just fell completely in love... hard!

So what's to know about these $12 nail wraps?

1. It Was A Team Effort

Dunham and Chrissy Mahlmeister, a multi-hyphenate who is the founder of Rad Nails and who serves as a Buzzfeed editor, partnered up for Nudes.

2. The "Ever-Elusive" Nude

The description of the product pretty much answers all of your questions: "This special Lenny x Rad Nails collaboration will officially end your search for the ever-elusive 'nude' nail color. The 'Nudes' design features 20 decals with cheeky illustrations of well, nudes! Abstract enough to be safe for work, but cool enough to make a statement." That sounds like nail perfection to me. But again, if you work in a conservative environment, think twice about rocking the wraps to work. Save them for off-hours if you think it could be problematic.

3. Nail File Included!

The set also includes one of five "mystery shape" nail files and an instruction card. So everything you need is contained in the parallelogram-shaped packaging. These wraps are also non-toxic and totally vegan. Because #Awesome.

Anyone plan to get their nude nails on courtesy of L. Dunham? And sign up for the newsletter. its a twice-weekly bright and informative spot in my inbox.
