They Can Handle Just About Anything At This Point

by Lia Beck

Kendall and Kylie Jenner do not have normal lives by any means and it's probably given them some strength (or if you choose to see it in a negative light, jaded them) when it comes to dealing with commonplace life events. Kendall and Kylie opened up about their parents' separation when they were guests on last night's Chelsea Lately. The two girls seem to be doing fine when it comes to the split which isn't that much of a surprise when you consider how crazy their lives are. These are two girls that have grown up having their everyday activities filmed for Keeping Up with the Kardashians. They've watched their sisters and parents and now themselves as the subject of countless magazine covers. They live their lives surrounded by paparazzi. So can they handle something as normal as their parents splitting up? Yeah, they can handle it.

“I think we’re doing fine. It sucks not having a dad living with you but I talk to him everyday," Kendall said of Kris and Bruce's separation. Kylie added, "We hang out all the time." Of course they do. For all the problems the Kardashian/Jenner family may have, being able to somehow all stick together isn't one of them. Anyway, it isn't like Kris and Bruce's split wasn't amicable or like Bruce is a deadbeat dad who doesn't pay child support or like they live in different states and can't afford to go see each other. Nope, Kendall and Kylie can just head over to Bruce's beach house whenever they want. If they aren't too busy, that is.

Kendall and Kylie might be only 18 and 16 but they have a lot going on — constant travel, photo shoots, interviews, filming for the show, frozen yogurt outings that have to be snapped by paparazzi — they literally don't have much time to worry about their parents separation. Kendall, specifically, has to think about rabid One Direction fans attacking her and I'm sure that constant threat is way more worrisome than having Bruce live a few miles away rather than inside of the same mansion.
