Kandi Spoke Up On 'RHOA' And On Twitter

by Kayla Hawkins

The fight between Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Stewart might have dominated the screentime, but Kandi Burruss' baby news — and, even more shocking, her behavior at the lunch that Kenya put together, was far more exciting. First of all, she showed up on time. She was even there early enough to talk with Kim, who was complaining about how late all of the other ladies were. Oh Kim, if you only knew. Kandi then called out Kenya for stoking the fires of other people's fights, but rarely resolving her own disagreements with as much aplomb. It was a shocking moment of shade from Kandi, who normally stays out of the fray while other Housewives fight.

While the fight ended pretty quickly, Kandi doesn't normally speak up, so it was surprising to hear her do so, especially because while Kandi is very loyal to her friends, her closest friendship of all, with Phaedra, has been in flux this season. But on Twitter, Kandi also dished about the other big news in her life — her pregnancy! During the season, she just reached somewhere around the five month mark (Dr. Jackie says she's just over halfway to reaching nine months in her checkup during the episode). And while that appointment suggested that there might be something wrong with the pregnancy, Kandi affirms that everything is going well with just a month to go.

And it looks like all of Kandi and Todd's positive affirmations worked — because Kandi confirmed that their baby is a boy!

Overall, from her Twitter revelations to her no-BS treatment of Kenya during the luncheon, Kandi was, as she often is, the most loveable member of the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast. She has exactly the right attitude: she puts her family first, friends second, and common sense third, before anything else.
