The Nugget Dispenser You Didn't Know You Needed
If you're a carnivore, chicken nuggets are without a doubt one of the finest foodstuffs known to humankind (especially when they're shaped like dinosaurs). Just to make them even better, though, you can now receive sustenance from a delightful LEGO Chicken McNugget dispenser. You heard me: McDonald's Chicken McNuggets... delivered by a machine... made of LEGOS. A team of LEGO-based inventors called Astonishing Studios recently uploaded a video of the machine, which dishes out pre-stored boxes of McNuggets along with a little tub of your sauce of choice. Can I get a double Sweet & Sour, please?
This (flawless, in my opinion) invention was created with Lego Mindstorms, a sub-set of the Lego brand that focuses on teaching basic programming skills. The video first shows the machine in action, dropping boxes of crunchy nuggets for the price of 2 euros. But that's not all; next, we are given an inside look at the form and function of the machine, including the coin storage box and the mechanism that dispenses sauce and nuggets. It's worth noting that the dispenser is just that (that is, a dispenser); it doesn't make chicken nuggets. In order for it to work its magic, you have to supply goods yourself. Either way, though, boy, am I glad these folks chose to create a McNugget machine instead of that robot from the box; I mean, robots are cool and all — but a robot that feeds me chicken nuggets is even better.
The folks at Astonishing Studios have created numerous other insanely awesome LEGO/food crossover inventions, too — so if you have a thing for snack food and funky machines, you just found out how you're going to spend your weekend. Hi there, chocolate milk mixing machine!

But you don't need to be a LEGO genius in order to get some kooky food apparatuses into your life. Check out these seven unusual devices you didn't know you needed... until now.
If your carpal tunnel is so bad you can't use the fine muscles of your wrist, you're in luck!
Call me crazy, but I think this is actually genius. Anyone who has attempted to operate a motor vehicle and dig for fries at the bottom of a Wendy's bag knows that the struggle is all too real.
3. Wine "Rack"
Even if this had a better name, I'm not sure I'd be convinced here. Wouldn't your co-workers ask why you smell like an entire bottle of Pinot Grigio?
5. Oreo Dipper
If you have some sort of phobia about getting milk on your fingertips, the Oreo Dipper is here for you. Don't have one of these around? A fork should get the job done, too.
6. Pizza Pouch
What would any weird food-related list be without the Pizza Pouch? Even if your hands are occupied (by two other slices of pizza), this contraption will (literally) keep a fresh slice near and dear to your heart.
