Get To Know Eva Longoria's Fiance

The great Eva Longoria has some equally-awesome news. This past weekend, it was announced that the actress and producer was engaged. But just who is Jose Antonio Baston, Longoria's fiance? Well, besides being a member of the three-name club and now being engaged to one of the beautiful women on the planet, it turns out Baston is a pretty impressive dude in his own right.

Longoria's new fiance is a mega successful Mexican television executive. According to Bloomberg, he is the president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America and the world's largest Spanish-speaking conglomerate. His nickname is Pepe, which is 10 shades of adorable, and he apparently has the seal of approval from Longoria's friends. "I am so thrilled that she has someone who is not intimidated by her and who is not afraid by her power, her beauty, her friendship and her drive," Longoria pal and Devious Maids star Ana Ortiz told People earlier this year. "He's just as driven and he's so supportive."

While Longoria and Baston have been dating since 2013, the engagement comes as a surprise to many fans. Just last year, Longoria told Ocean Drive that marriage and kids are "not on the horizon." Apparently, though, she changed her tune, and it's clear that she couldn't be happier. When speaking to FemaleFirst recently, Longoria said, "I'm truly in love, mostly... every moment we get to spend together is a blessing." How sweet is that?

This past week, the couple were in Dubai for a philanthropy event, according to Us Weekly, and on Sunday, the pair rode camels through the deserts. It was here that Baston apparently presented Longoria with a stunning ruby and diamond ring, as shown in their engagement photo. Longoria said "yes," and the star took to Instagram to announce the good news.

Congratulations to the happy (and ridiculously good-looking) couple! Cheers to the marriage having less drama than an episode of Desperate Housewives.
