Demi Lovato Has Your Perfect Red Lip Sorted

This lady is the queen of going makeup free on Instagram, but that’s not to say that she doesn’t have the whole makeup thing down pat, too. Demi Lovato recommended a drugstore red lipstick for the perfect NYE look, and I’d have to say that I’m loving her color choice — plus it works way beyond the holidays. You can’t go wrong with a classic red, and the fact that you can pick this shade up at your local Walmart makes it all the better. You’ll be on your way to the perfect New Year’s kiss in no time if you follow Lovato’s advice.

Being that she and Wilmer Valderrama are basically the cutest couple on Earth and that she always looks amazing (whether she’s wearing makeup or not), there’s really no reason not to let her steer you in the direction of the most incredible midnight pucker.

Lovato’s “Traffic Jam” red is bright and will definitely get you noticed, but any hue in the red color family will do for a major occasion. If you’re more into a deep burgundy or a fun pink shade, there’s are plenty of colors that are a great way to ring in 2016 — or to rock any other night of the year.
