9 Vegan Skin Care Products That You Need

by Emily McClure

It's time to get "in-the-know" about vegan skin care. These products are not only good for your skin, but they also come with some pretty sweet benefits for the planet as well. According to PETA.com, a product is technically vegan if it contains no animal byproducts. I took this definition a step further by also including products that were not tested on animals. For me, these two factors should go hand-in-hand. If you're wondering what an animal byproduct is,, they are items that are derived from an animal i.e. fat, fur, milk, eggs, etc. When it comes to applying this to your skin care, they are products free of any animal influence whatsoever.

If you're wondering why you should go vegan with your skin care, think of it as an investment in your skin as well as the betterment of our furry friends. Plus, many vegan skin care products have kick-butt benefits. In fact, most hold up to their non-vegan competitors, in my opinion. Wondering what vegan products you should be stocking your skin care routine with? Here are nine vegan skin care options that you need in your life.
