Taylor Momsen is 'Going To Hell'

by Ivy Jacobson

You know what? Go on with your bad self, Taylor Momsen. The former Gossip Girl star went from one complete image extreme to another three years ago, and never looked back. As soon as she shed (and shredded) her wholesome, sweet Upper East Side image when she left the show in 2011, she truly never looked back, becoming one of the coolest, scariest girls around (and when I say scary, I mean eyeliner on eyeliner on eyeliner). So now, her rock band, The Pretty Reckless, has just released the cover art and track list for their upcoming second studio album, Going to Hell, that will drop in March.

The cover art is of Momsen, showing off her bare backside, with a huge arrow and cross on her back leading down to her naked waist. What does it all mean? While I can probably figure it out, the track list is also indicative that this album is not for children, to put it lightly.

With songs like "Fucked Up World" and "Why'd You Bring a Shotgun to the Party" (side note: that is never a good idea) Taylor is just ripping and roaring with her badass image, and has been since the band formed in 2007 — but now she's out in full force (and naked) like never before.

The Pretty Reckless is also going on tour in 2014. If you're looking forward to it, the track list for "Going to Hell" is:

  1. Follow Me Down
  2. Going to Hell
  3. Heaven Knows
  4. House on a Hill
  5. Sweet Things
  6. Dear Sister
  7. Absolution
  8. Blame Me
  9. Burn
  10. Why'd You Bring a Shotgun to the Party
  11. Fucked Up World
  12. Waiting for a Friend
