'PLL' Fans Can Get A Free Drybar Blowout

by Amy Sciarretto

A good blowout is such a divine beauty luxury! You can go for days without washing your hair and your locks still look fab. Plus, the actual treatment feels good, from the scalp-massaging wash to the brush and dryer-created volume! Ahhhh, right? Drybar and Pretty Little Liars are offering free blowouts to celebrate the series' winter premiere. Yes, free! Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and co. have seriously amazing hair, so this partnership makes total sense.

Drybar is even updating two of its signature styles in PLL fashion — you can get "The Aria Straight Up" or "The Spencer Mai Tai." Ooh! How amaze, right?

However, it's also a limited offer, so don't delay in booking an appointment, as the slots will fill up fast.

Drybar is the gold standard in blowout salons. They don't offer cuts or color, just a long-lasting, luxe blowout. I got a blowout at the newly-minted Garden State Plaza location in Paramus, N.J., but more on that in a hot sec. Let's talk about your Drybar blowout.

Here's the intel. Drybar, along with Freeform, the new name of ABC Family, which airs Pretty Little Liars, is offering free blowouts, including tax and tip, all day on Tuesday, Jan. 12, the day of the premiere. All 50-plus Drybar locations in the U.S. are participating in this one day only promotion.

It's like Aria Montgomery is picking up your hair tab for the day. If you manage to book a slot, you will be able to watch episodes from early in Season 6 in the salon and nab tune-in cards.

There are no walk-in options. You can book a Drybar appointment online or via the brand's app.

I enjoyed my Drybar blowout at the brand spanking new location in the Garden State Plaza on the very day it opened last month. The traffic to and from the mega mall is hellish 24/7, so I needed something to help me relax from the stress of getting there and holiday shopping.

This blowout was it! I have pin straight hair, so a blowout is a blowout to me. But I loved Drybar for the atmosphere and the vibe; the brand really has created an "experience" where you feel pampered and get a personal touch. It's also low-maintenance, since you are not dealing with a cut or pondering a major coif change.

My stylist gave me a relaxing shampoo with a vigorous scalp massage and, according to my blowdrying instructions, added just the right amount of volume and fullness at the crown. I specifically asked her to not give me Kardashian hair and she obliged!

I also got to spend a few minutes chatting with brand founder, the dynamic dynamo that is Alli Webb, while getting my hair did. She changed the game with her idea of a salon that only offers blowdry services and her sweet, effusive manner was infectious. She even complimented my shades and told me where she bought her leather leggings. We were so kindred spirits for a few and it made my awesome blowout sesh even better!

I know it sounds like I am girl-crushing, since I am.

If a blowout is a beauty luxury not in your budget right now, I recommend that you take advantage of the PLL offer while you can. You deserve it.

Plus, you could get hair that looks like this and lasts a few days!
