Teresa Giudice Starts The New Year With A Tweet

It looks like the Giudice family is trying to make 2016 a positive year, despite Joe Giudice going to prison in March for 41 months after being found guilty of fraud. Teresa Guidice tweeted for the first time since being released from prison in December 2015 after serving almost 12 months for fraud, and it's pretty clear the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is all about moving forward — with her family by her side.

In addition to sharing a nice family photo with her husband and their four daughters, Teresa wrote, "Wishing everyone a healthy and happy New Year from our family to yours!" Ever since coming home, the 43-year-old Bravolebrity has appeared hopeful and upbeat, which makes sense. As she said in a video released by The Daily Dish (and her first statement since returning home), "Hi everyone, I'm back! I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. It's gonna be a great 2016. Love, love, love you all."

Who wouldn't be happy about coming home to their family after being away for so long? I can't imagine what it's like to be locked away for any amount of time, but I'm sure it's beyond difficult and can really affect your spirit. That said, it seems Teresa is trying to start fresh, especially since it is a brand new year.

So much so, that she even hung out with her sister-in-law and RHONJ co-star Melissa Gorga over New Year's Eve. As you can see below, they look like they're having fun and ringing in 2016 the right way. There's no doubt Teresa and Melissa have had their fair share of ups and downs, but maybe they're looking at 2016 in a brighter light by focusing on what's truly important: family, not the petty drama.

Whatever the case, home is definitely treating Teresa well.
