There are few things better than a well-crafted designer shoe, but when you pair them with the style of your favorite Disney character, a whole new kind of magical is made. Griz and Norm Lemay posted a series of breathtaking illustrations on their Instagram page of classic footwear designs mixed with a little Disney flair, and the results are simple incredible. These Disney designer shoe sketches will seriously make all your dreams come true — well, except the dream of actually wearing them!
While not posting amazing art on their Instagram, the duo are both artists at Walt Disney Animation, PopSugar reports. So, let's just say they know a bit about Disney-style illustration, shall we? If you know your Disney and your designer shoes as well as these two, you can probably distinguish the inspiration for each post.
Griz told Bustle over email she thought of the idea while daydreaming about Disney Princesses wearing her favorite designer shoes. In addition to princesses, you'll also find some villains and other note-worthy Disney leading ladies sprinkled throughout the Instagram series. Griz believes shoes can be a form of art that you wear rather than just a functionality, and when done right, it shows personality and character. "In my mind, a great pair of shoes is the exclamation point to an outfit," Griz said to Bustle. If you take a look, you'll see how that sentiment truly comes across in these illustrations

The feathers on these shoes would look spectacular as Yzma falls down that giant hole.
