Here's When The Snapchat Lens Store Is Closing

Mere months after the Snapchat gods gifted us with the option to buy our favorite lenses for a mere 99 cents — a low price considering how much money most of us are prepared to fork over for the chance to puke rainbows again — it's being cruelly torn away again. When Snapchat lenses broke the Internet last fall, they operated on a rotating basis; that is, each lens survived just a few days on the app before being whisked away again to make way for new ones. If you've bought lenses in the past, your investment wasn't in vain — Snapchat writes that you'll still be able to use them to your heart's content, although the most popular old lenses might not be making their way back into rotation again for a while. In the meantime, the free lenses will be available as usual.
