Kendall Jenner's 2016 Trend Forecast Is About Sticking With What Works — PHOTOS
Most people think "new year, new me," but this Ot-girl is taking a completely different approach. Instead of Kendall Jenner's trend forecast being about new trends, she stuck with the trends she loved from the past year. Because if it's not broke, why try and fix it?
After Jenner revealed she thinks she's the least trendy sister in her family, she created a trend forecast on her website based on some of her all-time favorite styles. What set her list apart from others is that it was all based on looks she's already worn. In 2015, the 20-year-old has mastered street style, hit all the major runways, and had some stand-out red carpet moments, so it only makes sense that she would want to stick with what works for her.
Jenner chose six of her favorite styles to vow to keep rocking in the new year. On top of choosing suede, sneakers, and fringe among her top favorites, she also pointed out a few trends that she hopes will be sent to the style graveyard.
"There are some trends that just HAVE to go," Jenner says on her site. "Am I the only one sick of butt-baring shorts and slogan shirts?"
No, KJ. You are definitely not.
Jenner definitely knows a thing or two about style. She's worn her top 2016 trends so many times in the past year, that I can't wait how she makes them even more fabulous. Check out the sartorial proof of how on-point her trend forecast already is.
This trend hit 2015 hard and it looks like it's here to stay. Jenner has a knack for mix-and-match outfits, so it only makes sense that she's going to keep wearing laid-back kicks with high-end pieces.
It's stylish and comfy all in one!
There's nothing like a classic fabric, and if anyone knows that, it's Jenner. She had a bunch of stand-out style moments thanks to suede, and it looks like there's more to come.
Skirts, boots, jackets — she's pretty much rocked suede everything!
Another '90s trend is here to stay, according to the model. She's worn the necklaces in all shapes and size, so it'll be interesting to see how she makes the trend even better in 2016.
So simple, yet so trendy.
4. Flared Jeans
The queen of jeans has spoken, and she's bringing back the bell bottoms.
I honestly never thought I'd see this style again.
5. Leopard Print
Jenner admits on her site that she completely "changed her mind" about this trend.
Seeing how good she looks in it, it's clear why she's a leopard print believer now.
From fringe bags to jackets, she's worn it all.
Jenner's killing the style game. It's nice to see her sticking to her own personal favorites for the new year.
