The 'AHS' Cast Is Anything But Scary At The Globes

by Erin Mayer

I knew once Lady Gaga joined the cast that the 2016 awards season would be a sartorially memorable one for this TV series. The American Horror Story cast hit the 2016 Golden Globes red carpet, and I've been hoping for awhile now that the notoriously wacky singer would pull out all the stops, given that she's nominated for Best Actress in a limited series . Although her look as become tamer ever since she began performing jazz music with Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga has never once been "boring." I, for one, prefer her more classic ensembles to the meat dresses of yore.

But Gaga isn't the only AHS star with good fashion sense. Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, and Evan Peters have also impressed me time and time again, as have countless other cast members. As the stellar — and often terrifying (in the best way) — cast of the latest season of Ryan Murphy's hit TV show arrives at tonight's Golden Globes ceremony, let's examine all of their killer (pun so intended) outfits one by one. I think we can expect lots of high-wattage, high-glamour looks from the cast of television's spookiest series — after all, if there's one thing AHS stars know, it's drama.

1. Denis O'Hare

Can you say "slay?" Those shoes! Those nails! That jacket! Dare I say that he's my pick for the best dressed man of the night?

He is working it.

2. Lady Gaga

The plunging neckline and white-blonde updo gives this whole look an Old Hollywood vibe, which Gaga seems to be favoring of late.

She has some serious Marilyn Monroe vibes.

Her jewelry is on-point as well.

3. Gabourey Sidibe

Although technically not at the Globes themselves, Sidibe is really working this silver sequined Christian Siriano masterpiece.
