Scott & Kourtney Co-Parent On 'KUWTK'

by Nicole Pomarico

The world hasn't been the same since Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick split up, and neither has Keeping Up With The Kardashians — especially after last week's heart wrenching episode. After being apart for months, Scott returned to Kourtney's house to apologize to her and the rest of her family for embarrassing them with his recent behavior, and it's obvious that he wants his old life back. But as much as I'd love to see them back together ASAP, Scott's show of emotions doesn't mean that anything's changed overnight, except for one thing: Scott and Kourtney are now attempting to co-parent their kids, and KUWTK emphasized that it's going to be a difficult path.

While Kourtney and her sisters were in New York for Fashion Week and the launch of their apps, Scott took the time to hang out at their house with the kids so he could have some quality dad time with them. Of course, Kourtney put Kris in charge of staying available in case Scott needed her or in case anything bad happened so she could chill out without worrying about her kids and their wellbeing while she was on her trip. So the trust isn't there yet, but they're definitely making progress.

And if you've been keeping your fingers crossed for a reunion for these two, this episode definitely didn't make it look good.Over dinner with Jonathan Cheban and other friends, the topic of Kourtney dating or getting back together with Scott came up, and for the first time, Kourtney admitted that she's thinking about finding somebody new, and that things with Scott might be beyond repair. It was really hard to hear, but she actually did have a point.

"I love Scott, but I've gotten to a place where I'm just living life again, and I need to separate myself, because every time I carry his problems on my shoulders, I physically can't keep doing it," Kourtney said. "Scott really needs to help himself, and I need to focus on myself."

Good for Kourt for sticking up for herself and for doing what's best for her. After all, if she's in good shape, that means Mason, Penelope, and Reign are in good shape, and it's obvious that they are her number one priority right now, and always.

Hopefully, Kourtney and Scott can continue to be the best parents possible for their kids. If they end up back together someday, it will be the most wonderful day in the history of days, but if not? They're raising three healthy, happy kids, and that's all that matters.
