Rob Kardashian Should Totally Come Back To ‘KUWTK'

There isn’t much missing from my weekly dose of Kardashian kraziness, especially on this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. There has been plenty of drama with Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian breaking up, Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy, and Caitlyn Jenner’s transition. After this year, it seems like the last thing those people need is more drama. But the one thing that is still missing from my Sunday nights of keeping up with the whole fam is the one man in the family left standing: Rob Kardashian. So when I heard that Kris Jenner told Maria Shriver in a recent interview that Rob wants to come back to Keeping Up With The Kardashians, I immediately started thinking of all the ways that his return would make the show even better than it already is. Because, trust me, there are a ton of reasons why Rob should come back.

After a number of years of refusing to appear on the show that made him and his family even more famous than they already were, Rob was in the news recently when he was diagnosed with diabetes. As his family flocked around him to support him in his journey to wellness, reports and rumors started surfacing that Rob was taking this health scare very seriously, and that he would be back to his old self in no time.

Combine that with Jenner’s recent comments calling Rob's absence from the show “a hiatus,” and I have a strong feeling that we might be seeing Rob in future episodes of KUWTK before we know it.

And just in case he needs a little prodding to return to the show, here are all of the reasons why we need him back ASAP:

1. The Show Needs A Little Balance

With Scott gone, Rob on hiatus, and Kanye refusing to be filmed for the show, the only men on KUWTK these days are Mason, Reign, and Corey, Kris’ boyfriend. And as cute as those guys are, it’s hard to balance six strong women with a few seconds of being adorable and lounging around Kris Jenner’s house.

2. It Would Cause A Ton Of Drama

There has been a lot happening under the reality television radar with Rob: He reportedly left Kim’s wedding early, he was the closest one to Lamar besides Khloé, and he has a number of health issues/personal problems that would add plenty to the already full plate of Kardashian drama.

3. We Could All Root For Him

Coming from a family that makes its money by appearing to be perfect, Rob would be a refreshing reminder that not everyone has it so easy. He would totally be the one we could relate to as he struggled with health issues, body image issues, and being related to Kim Kardashian.

4. It Would Make A Great Storyline

Watching him work through his issues would make for a great plot. Who doesn’t love to watch someone triumph and overcome challenges?

5. He’s The Realest Kardashian There Is

As much as I love those ladies, no one calls out their bullsh*t faster and with fewer pretenses than Rob. He was always the first to point out when the other people in his family were being fake or ridiculous in any way, and lord knows those Kardashians could benefit from a healthy dose of actual reality.

6. It Could Help His Business

Because starring on a reality television show is a huge public platform, especially when it’s one of the most popular reality television shows there is. With reports that his socks are not selling well, this could be just the thing to bring his line back and make it better than ever.

I vote to bring Rob back. And ASAP. So let’s start a petition. It will be the Donna Martin Graduates of 2016.
