Expect "Psychological Horror" on 'Walking Dead'

Are you excited for season four of The Walking Dead to finally return to television? If not, you absolutely should be — so here's a little The Walking Dead behind-the-scenes video to get you searching high and low for a DeLorean so it can be February already.

For those of you who may not know (and who are not opposed to the occasional gigantic monumental humongous spoiler), the season four midseason finale saw the prison that Rick and the gang have been living in for the past few seasons completely destroyed, and the gang itself mostly disbanded as everyone fought to survive. In one of the most poignant scenes, Rick and Carl run off, after discovering Judith's carrier empty, and Rick tells Carl simply, "Don't look back." The prison is behind them now, and us — but surely, that doesn't mean the rest of the gang is?

In the clip, which features a ton of interviews, we find out a bit more about the midseason finale, as well as what this means for the midseason premiere — as well as the latter half of the season.

"We’ve had the sanctity and the security of the prison for a season and a half, and we’re on the road again," star Andrew Lincoln says in the clip. "People have been spun into orbit. Every one has been separated, and it’s a terrifying world that we inhabit again. We’re weakened because we’re split from each other."

Excited yet? Lincoln also says that show's feel during season 4b will be much more of a "psychological horror." NEED THIS SHOW NOW.

You can check out the clip below. The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Feb. 9.
