Transitioning from child actor to full-blown starlet is probably one of the most dangerous balancing acts a human being can perform, but you'd never know it from this actor's red carpet presence. Maisie Williams slayed at the SAG Awards, proving that her personal style is the perfect compliment for the quirky personality we all love her for.
Known for her cute and feminine red carpet getups, Williams' look tonight was the perfect choice for the rising star. The tea-length skirt struck the perfect balance between dressy and fun, and the cerulean shade was ultra lovely on her. Understated makeup showed off Williams' enviable brows. She complete the look with minimal jewelry and an upswept bun.
Compare this dress to the adorable (and affordable!) Self-Portrait dress she wore last year, and it's obvious that Williams is totally committed to her personal style. Although this year's look is flawless, I'm a huge fan of Williams' more, shall we say, creative getups, such as that one dress made entirely out of comic books, which included panels from Sailor Moon (technically a manga, but whatever) and Sandman. If you ask me, the girl's taste in 90's comic lit is spot-on.
Williams and the rest of the GOT cast are up tonight for an "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series" award (not for the first time), so here's to hoping we get the chance to see Williams shine on stage with the rest of her totally deserving cast mates tonight. In the meantime, enjoy the pretty!
Just check out that color.
Williams couldn't have picked a more adorable frock.
