Caitlin's Finally Getting Frosty On 'The Flash'

Get ready, Caitlin fans. The journey to Earth-2 is going to reveal one of the most anticipated transformations of the whole series. That's right, Killer Frost is finally coming to The Flash.

Remember when Barry caught a glimpse of a white-haired Caitlin in the speed force? We finally know where she comes from. Thankfully, it no longer seems likely that a tragic turn of events will transform the Caitlin we know and love into an antagonist. Turns out, it's in Earth-2 that Caitlin Snow is the metahuman and villainess that DC comic book fans recognize. Not only that, but Robbie Arnell will reprise his role as Ronnie Raymond — but this time he's Deathstorm, Killer Frost's evil lover and counterpart. I like that on Earth-2, Caitlin and Ronnie are still together. She still gets a happy ending on The Flash, in a way.

Barry and Cisco took Harry to Earth-2 in order to take on Zoom and rescue Wells' daughter Jessie. I'm sure the shock of finding their own dopplegangers (did I spy a bow tie on Earth-2 Barry Allen because that's a dream I didn't know I had until I saw it) will be a lot to handle — but seeing their friends terrorizing the city is going to be tough.

You would think, however, that either Harrison Wells or Jay Garrick would have mentioned to, oh you know, anybody that Caitlin was superpowered and a baddie on Earth-2. Did they not recognize her without the frosty locks? I find that hard to believe.

It's not that I want Caitlin to be evil, I'm just looking forward to seeing this new "side" of her character. On the same line, it's not that I want Killer Frost to go to Earth-1, but I would love it if our Caitlin got to meet her criminal counterpart as well. What's the point of dopplegangers if you don't get some Parent Trap (or at least Buffy the Vampire) situations with both people in the same scene? That has to happen on The Flash at least once with Caitlin, please?
