Female porn stars — like the rest of us — either marvel at the romantic possibilities of Valentine's Day, hate it with a passion, or feel kinda 'meh' about it. Because they have made careers out of celebrating lust, however, when porn stars reveal their best Valentine's Day gifts in a new Adult Empire video, it shifts the focus and provides rare insight into their love lives.
The digital short explores the good, the bad, and the truly awful V-Day treats that porn professionals have received. Although the best and/or worst Valentine's gifts are in the eye of the giftee, all genders can learn a thing or two about romantic gifting from this survey. Whether it's a Valtrex prescription (LOL) or a fart (gross), some of the answers are absurdly over-the-top, perpetuating cliches about porn actors living a totally alien existence. That said, some of the gifts the women interviewed describe are actually sweet and earnest, countering that "wacky sex worker" cliche, and reminding us that yep, porn stars are just regular people too. Regular people who have mastered the art of looking hot while getting railed on camera, but regular people who have complex, intimate relationships nonetheless.
