This Is Why Kylie Jenner Deserves A Puma Contract

Rumors began to swirl last week that the youngest Jenner would be partnering with Puma in some way, and not everyone was super happy about it. Kanye West took to Twitter claiming that his family would never team up with the brand since he’s been working with Adidas on the Yeezy lines. But, according to Nice Kicks, the rumors that Kylie Jenner will be a brand ambassador for Puma just might be true. No hard feelings, ‘Ye, but she’s going to do her own thing. Bustle has reached out to Puma for confirmation and will update if the brand responds. UPDATE: Bustle received the following quote from Adam Petrick, the Global Director of Brand and Marketing, confirming the partnership. "I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that PUMA is indeed working with Kylie Jenner. Kylie will be featured in the brand’s Spring/Summer women’s training campaign launching in April 2016," he said. "Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for PUMA."

The publication reported that "at Agenda Las Vegas, while stopping by the Puma booth at Liberty Fairs, we were able to confirm that the Kylie Jenner Puma partnership is in fact a go.” While it wasn’t originally super clear what (if anything) would take place in the Puma/Jenner partnership, although Us Weekly did report that her role would be much different from Rihanna’s, it looks as though Jenner will be a brand ambassador and support certain products via her social media account and ad campaigns, Nice Kicks reported.

I personally believe that Jenner would make an excellent Puma rep, especially given the fact that she pulls off the whole athleisure trend so well. See eleven times she’s proven she could be the perfect Puma brand ambassador, and get ready to see the brand popping up on her Instagram. Oh yeah, and try not to take it personally, Yeezy.
