The Next 'Bachelorette' Star Will Be Revealed Soon
As a member of Bachelor Nation, it's no secret that we collectively suffer from a bit of impatience when it comes to anticipating what's going to happen next. When viewers were cruelly subjected to a cliffhanger with no rose ceremony a few weeks ago, I thought there was going to be mass anarchy on Chris Harrison's hands. So, with this season almost over, my thoughts are naturally focused on when the next Bachelorette will be announced.
I tend to be a forward thinker, and believe we need to dedicate our thoughts to when we're gonna find out the earth-shattering news of who the next Bachelorette will be. If RealitySteve is correct (which he usually is), in accordance with how the announcements usually roll out, the next Bachelorette will be announced during the After The Final Rose special, which is on March 18. However, a small wrinkle in that plan is that several sources like Us Weekly, have already started reporting that Caila will be the next Bachelorette, which could speed ABC's announcement up to Monday's Women Tell All. But, it's not over 'til it's over, and Caila's not the only lady in contention for the leading spot. Here are some other options:
Jubilee
When Jubilee was eliminated, my initial reaction was not that of sadness, but pure elation because she would be the most perfect Bachelorette. She is such a unique person, with the ultimate blend of badass, beauty, and brains — men will just be falling over themselves to be with her. Also, it wouldn't hurt to see a woman of color represented as the star of the show, instead of just one of few minority contestants.
JoJo
JoJo is still on the show, and therefore, may not even be Bachelorette material, but it doesn't hurt to dream. JoJo has always been frank, funny, and seems to get along super well with others, which would really serve her well in a house full of over 20 men all vying for her affections. She would make a Bachelorette — even Jade and Tanner want JoJo to be the next Bachelorette.
Becca
I want Becca to find love, damn it! This woman is obviously sweet and has really cool clothes, so I wouldn't mind seeing her on TV... yet again.
Olivia
I know you're probably reading this and have already mentally crossed me off your list of trustworthy newsources, but hear me out, yo! Olivia was clearly enough of a firestarter when she was only dating one man — can you imagine the level of drama (i.e. excellent television) that would come out of her starring as the Bachelorette? ZOMG, someone get ABC on the line yesterday.
Mandi
The dentist from Portland who flossed Ben's teeth and had hurdling skills better than Lolo Jones? Yeah, you best believe I wanna see more of that.
Who do you want to see star as the next Bachelorette? Let's hope we find out the answer soon!
